Job Title: Electrician’s Mate Hotel Refurbishment

The Role

We are currently sourcing an experienced Electrician’s Mate to assist our team of JIB Electricians on a major, long-term hotel refurbishment project in central Bristol.

Working primarily within the hotel rooms, you will be supporting the electricians in completing high-quality 1st and 2nd fix installations to a tight schedule. This is a fast-paced commercial environment that requires a proactive, reliable worker who is used to assisting on large-scale hospitality or residential refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting electricians with 1st and 2nd fix installations in hotel bedrooms and en-suites.
• Pulling cables and assisting with the installation of lighting, power, and data points.
• Helping with basic containment work (trunking, tray, and conduit).
• Fetching and organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Adhering strictly to site health and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Valid ECS Card (Essential).
• Proven previous experience working as an Electrician’s Mate on commercial or high-end residential sites.
• Basic hand tools and standard full PPE.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
