Building Manager

Portsmouth £45,000 + Benefits

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm 5 days on site

We’re working with a well-established property management company to recruit a Building Manager for a large, high-end residential development in Portsmouth.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the development, managing everything from maintenance and contractors to residents and on-site staff.

No residential property experience? No problem.

We’re particularly interested in candidates from military, emergency services, facilities management or operational backgrounds

The role?

You’ll be responsible for:

Day-to-day building management Planned & reactive maintenance Contractor & compliance management Building inspections & site standards Leading the on-site team Resident communication & complaints Maintenance budgets & spend Coordinating works & resident updates Resident & director meetings

What’s the environment like?

This is a busy, high-expectation development with a very engaged resident board.

Residents have a strong voice, so you’ll need to be comfortable:

Your background?

We’d ideally like experience in:

Building / Property Management Facilities Management Operations Contractor management Team leadership

But residential experience isn’t essential.

Dwellant/Qube experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
