Our client is looking for experienced and driver Gate & Barrier Engineers to join its busy team in the Southeast.

The role will focus on: Commercial automatic gates, barriers, access control systems, and associated infrastructure.

Role Specification, Experience with some or all required, depending on level:
– Installation of automatic gates and barriers.
– Retrofit automation onto existing gates.
– Large plug-and-play commercial installations.
– Fault finding and reactive call-outs.
– Planned preventative maintenance.
– Civils works including excavation, ducting, concrete bases and service installation.
– Automation equipment installation.
– Access control systems when required.
– Commissioning, testing and handover.
– Reading technical drawings and site surveys.

Requirements – combinations of the below will be considered:
– CSCS Relevant to level
– Gate Safe Certified.
– DHF Automated Gate Training.
– HSG47 (Avoiding Danger from Underground Services).

Also Desirable:
– IPAF
– First Aid
– ECS/Access Control qualifications.
– SSSTS

The ideal applicants will be self-sufficient, whilst also working well in a team. You will have good industry/sector relevant experience across installation, fault finding and comissioning.
