North West Office – Sites Across the UK

A well-established structural steel contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver steelwork projects across the UK, with the office based in the North West.

This is a hands-on role for someone with proven experience managing structural steel projects from pre-construction to completion, working closely with fabrication teams, site managers, subcontractors, and clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from award through to completion

• Coordinate design, fabrication, and site installation activities

• Oversee programmes, budgets, and quality standards

• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and logistics across multiple UK sites

• Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements, including RAMS

• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience in structural steel project management

• Strong knowledge of fabrication, erection, and site sequencing

• Experience managing programmes and budgets on multiple sites

• Confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders nationwide

• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the UK
