Commercial Plumbers – Shrewsbury (Rates + Lodge)

We are currently recruiting experienced Commercial Plumbers for a large commercial installation project in Shrewsbury.

This is a long-term opportunity with a well-established M&E contractor, offering good rates, overtime, and lodge allowance.

Job Scope

• Commercial plumbing installation

• Drainage systems

• Fusion pipework installation

Requirements

• JIB / CSCS Card

• IPAF (preferred)

• Proven experience on commercial construction projects

Basic Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 6:00pm

• Friday: 7:30am – 1:00pm

• 45.5 hours per week

Rates – CIS (PAYE if preferred)

• 25.00 per hour – first 37.5 hours (Mon-Fri) ( 18.80 PAYE)

• 32.50 per hour – midweek overtime & Saturday (first 6 hours) ( 24.47 PAYE)

• 40.00 per hour – Saturday after 6 hours & Sunday ( 30.11 PAYE)

Rates and lodge allowance paid in line with the Plumbing and Heating Joint Industry Board (PJIB) working rule agreement.

Lodge Allowance

• 53.40 per day worked

• Paid to operatives living over 55 miles from site
