An established consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Management Director as part of its expansion into England, with Bristol identified as a key location for future growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Management Director to establish a new regional presence, win work and build a successful project management team. The successful Project Management Director will have the autonomy to shape the Bristol operation and play a key role in the consultancy’s wider growth plans.
The ideal Project Management Director will already have a strong network across Bristol and the South West, with established relationships throughout the built environment. They are looking for a commercially focused Project Management Director who can use those relationships to generate opportunities across residential, commercial, hotels, mixed-use and other property sectors.
The Project Management Director’s role
The Project Management Director will initially focus on business development, using their existing contacts and market knowledge to generate and convert new project management opportunities.
Alongside winning work, the Project Management Director will help shape the Birmingham operation, identifying key hires and developing a local team as the pipeline increases.
The role offers considerable autonomy, with the Project Management Director able to influence target sectors, clients, recruitment and the overall regional growth strategy.
Working alongside the wider leadership team, the Project Management Director will also help strengthen the consultancy’s profile across Birmingham and establish long-term relationships with developers, investors and other major property clients.
