About the Role

Working for one of the UK’s longest established and most respected Electrical companies, we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Maintenance Electrician to join our in-house team and support the ongoing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems across commercial facilities in central London. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, reliable, and takes pride in keeping buildings running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and reactive maintenance on commercial electrical systems

Diagnose and repair electrical faults, lighting, power, and control systems

Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals

Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures

Coordinate with facility managers, contractors, and other trades as needed

Complete job reports and maintenance records accurately

Requirements

JIB certified Gold Card Approved Electrician (commercial experience required)

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

Experience working in commercial or facilities maintenance environments

Good understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong communication and customer service skills

Valid driver’s license
