Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

Complex engineering, construction, infrastructure or capital projects experience

UK – Hybrid – Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Establish clear scope, objectives, delivery plans and governance arrangements.
• Coordinate engineering, commercial, planning, risk and delivery teams.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks and changes.
• Monitor contractor and supplier performance.
• Provide accurate progress reports to senior stakeholders and clients.
• Identify delivery issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
• Build effective relationships with clients, delivery partners and internal teams.
• Support project assurance, reviews and decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• Strong, demonstrable project-management experience.
• Experience managing complex engineering, construction, infrastructure or capital projects.
• Previous water, utilities or nuclear experience is desirable but not essential.
• Candidates from power, renewable energy, rail, oil and gas or major infrastructure will be considered.
• Strong commercial, stakeholder and delivery-management capabilities.
• Able to demonstrate ownership of project outcomes rather than purely providing reporting support.
• Relevant project-management qualifications would be advantageous.
