Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a highly respected national property consultancy as they look to strengthen their London Building Consultancy team with the appointment of a Senior Building Surveyor.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor seeking to take the next step in their career within a well-established commercial property environment. The role offers a strong project bias, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial assets for a range of investor, occupier, and landlord clients.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and experienced team, delivering a broad range of project-led building surveying services including refurbishment, fit-out, contract administration, dilapidations, and technical due diligence instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering commercial building surveying projects from inception through to completion.
• Contract administration and project management duties.
• Preparation of specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
• Undertaking technical due diligence surveys and reporting.
• Dilapidations advice and negotiations.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate.

Requirements

• MRICS qualified.
• Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Proven building surveying experience within the commercial property sector.
• Strong project delivery and contract administration skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• A proactive and commercially minded approach.
