Senior Site Manager required in Portsmouth

GVR Solutions are currently representing a market leading and award-winning main contractor, who are currently in the market for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join them on a new build Modular project based in Portsmouth.

Our client work on behalf of Government backed schemes so it is essential that you will be able to pass UK security clearance.

Daily responsibilities for the successful Site Manager will include:

• Working and reporting to the Project manager
• The role will require you to ensure the successful delivery of works on budget, on time and, in a safe manner and fully in accordance with company policy and procedures
• Managing contractors and direct operatives, ensuring planned works are completed on time and within budget
• You will work closely with the supply chain to ensure delivery, prepare work programmes, weekly reporting, hold regular meetings with supply chain and client, and providing high quality technical expertise on electrical works
• Managing and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Requirements for the role of Senior Site Manager:

• Must previous experience working as a Site Manager on New build projects
• Must have experience working for a main contractor
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid
• Asbestos Awareness
• Temporary works desirable
• Trade background is preferential but not essential
