Responsibilities

As a Site Agent, you will:

• Manage and lead Civil Engineering site teams to deliver excellence on project objectives.
• Oversee a package of works on a high-profile project within the energy sector.
• Drive a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all site activities.
• Effectively communicate with and support site supervisors and staff to ensure collaboration and team alignment.
• Plan, programme, and resource site works to meet the agreed timetable and milestones.
• Proactively resolve challenges, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment, recognising and leveraging the strengths of a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Proven ability to lead the successful delivery of Civil Engineering site teams in a leadership role.
• Valid CSCS card applicable to the scope of the role.
• SMSTS qualification
• Demonstrable experience in ensuring Health & Safety compliance within a project.
• Willingness to travel across various project locations across South Wales

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a transparent and supportive work culture.
• Monitor progress on civil works packages, ensuring all milestone targets are met.
• Assess and manage site safety, adhering to company and industry health and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to effectively allocate resources and address technical challenges.
• Attend and contribute to project and stakeholder meetings to deliver updates on progress and potential risks.
• Promote and advocate sustainability initiatives and diverse engagement efforts within the project.
