Skilled Labourer
Location: Batley
Rate:£13.50 PAYE or £16.75 per hour (CIS)
Start Date: 5th May
Duration: Temporary 2 – 3 weeks

We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Labourer to support an external refurbishment project in Batley. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor and potentially secure ongoing work.

Skilled Labourer Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day site tasks
• Supporting the removal of bay windows and installation of new casements
• Carrying out associated works including:
  • Installing lintels beneath windows
  • Beading and patch plastering
  • Fitting window boards
  • Basic ceramic tiling
• General site preparation and clean-up
• Supporting finishing works as required

Skilled Labourer Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction or site labouring preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
• Physically fit and capable of safely lifting heavy materials
• CSCS card desirable, but not essential
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
