Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Steel Erector to join a dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing steel structures on various construction sites. Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately assemble steel frameworks.
• Erect steel components using hand tools, power tools, cranes, and rigging equipment with precision and safety in mind.
• Secure steel members with bolts, welds, or other fastening methods according to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct inspections of erected structures for stability, alignment, and safety compliance throughout the process.
• Assist with fabrication tasks as needed, including cutting, grinding, or preparing steel parts for assembly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in steel erection or related construction roles; familiarity with structural steel is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry, welding, electrical work, plumbing, and construction painting is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience with fabrication processes such as cutting or grinding steel components.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Certifications in welding or rigging are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
