Barratt Developments PLC
Overview
Within the Construction environment, think about buying materials, managing big projects, ensuring health and safety and customer service. We work on circa 400 developments across the UK, with projects in towns and rural areas. Some are from scratch on brownfield sites; others involve adapting existing buildings, like old factories or disused hospitals.
We need people who can bring fresh ideas and imagination, and the commercial ability to manage people, budgets and costs. Site Managers have won NHBC Pride in the Job Awards for thirteen consecutive years, reflecting our professionalism in construction.
Role and responsibilities
Reporting to the Construction Director, you will oversee the development of sites from land acquisition to completion, ensuring Safety, Health and Environmental standards are maintained, and Programme, Quality and Cost targets are achieved within agreed budgets and timescales through the effective management of Site Managers and subcontractors. You will be responsible for delivering the divisional construction execution plan.
