We are working with a well-respected regional contractor experiencing sustained growth, with a strong portfolio of live projects and a healthy pipeline of work due to commence over the next six months. They are seeking a Health & Safety professional to support senior management in implementing a company-wide safety strategy, while also working closely with Project Managers and site teams to promote best practice across live projects.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Ensure compliance with SHE legislation, industry standards, and company policies
Provide guidance and support to management, staff, and contractors to promote a strong safety culture
Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations, implementing improvements and lessons learned
Support the development and maintenance of ISO45001 and ISO14001 management systems
Monitor site activities, ensuring risks are minimised and controls are effective
Report on SHE performance and analyse data to drive continuous improvement
Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Deliver SHE training and promote best practices across the business
Contribute to SHEQ strategy and ongoing system improvements
Qualifications & Experience:
NEBOSH Certificate (minimum) or CMIOSH (desirable)
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
Construction/civil engineering experience, including CDM regulations
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and risk management within the construction sector
