Purpose: To manage the commercial and contractual aspects of acoustic installation projects, ensuring effective cost control, profitability, and value for money from tender through to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project budgets, costs, and cash flow
Produce valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
Procure materials, suppliers, and subcontractors
Monitor and manage variations and change orders
Administer contracts (JCT/NEC) and manage commercial risk
Produce regular financial reports and maintain accurate records
Work closely with project managers and site teams to support delivery
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, fit-out, or specialist subcontracting
Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools
Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar)
Desirable:
Experience in acoustic systems, partitions, ceilings, or interior fit-out
