Quantity Surveyor
Location: Falmer, East Sussex
Rate: Up to 400 per day (Inside IR35)
Hybrid Working: 3 Days per Week in Office
Sector: Water Infrastructure

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a major Southern Water programme based in Falmer.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term infrastructure framework delivering critical projects across the water network. We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within the Water, Civil Engineering, Utilities or M&E sectors and are comfortable operating within NEC4 contract environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial management of projects from inception through to final account
• Preparation and assessment of applications, valuations and compensation events
• Contract administration under NEC4 contracts
• Cost forecasting, reporting and budget management
• Management of subcontractor accounts and procurement activities
• Supporting project teams to achieve commercial and contractual objectives

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Water, Civils, Utilities or M&E projects
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, particularly Options A, C and E
• Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification preferred
