Site Engineer Full Time NEW

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a large-scale housing groundworks project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering high-quality residential infrastructure, including roads, drainage, and plot works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, and external works
• Managing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with project requirements and tolerances
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and clients
• Conducting site surveys and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting quality control and health & safety compliance on site
• Resolving technical issues as they arise

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within groundworks or residential housing projects
• Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, and infrastructure works
• Proficient in the use of surveying equipment (e.g. GPS, Total Station)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• CSCS card (essential)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field
• Experience with volume housing developers
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification
