Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 Weekend availability

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Earthworks Supervisor for an ongoing project in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join an earthworks and remediation contractor working on the preparation of ground ahead of groundworks for a new residential development.

This Earthworks Supervisor role will suit someone with strong site leadership experience and a solid background in earthworks, remediation or civil engineering environments. You will play a key role in keeping the site organised, safe and running to programme.

The Role

As Earthworks Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activity, coordinating labour and plant, and ensuring site logistics and traffic management are delivered effectively. You will support the wider site team in maintaining productivity, compliance and safe working standards throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site logistics
• Oversee traffic management operations
• Coordinate labour and plant across site
• Ensure works are completed safely and to programme
• Maintain site organisation and productivity
• Provide clear leadership to site operatives
• Monitor standards of work and site compliance
• Support smooth day-to-day project delivery
• Promote and maintain high health and safety standards

Requirements

• SMSTS or SSSTS certification essential
• Valid CSCS card essential
• First Aid certification essential
• Previous experience as an Earthworks Supervisor or similar
• Strong background in earthworks, remediation or civils environments
• Good understanding of site logistics and traffic management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage site operations safely and effectively
• Practical problem-solving approach on site
